The good folks over @ irc.wastate.net / irc.thefuzz4.net #droideris & #root have given us the first look at a rooted droid eris handset running android 2.1.

- no google login bug (where you had to login with each boot)

This is not a ROOT for the 2.1 leak. This is from 1.5-2.1 ONLY so don't go flashing any images we're going to have up here shortly. 1.5 to 2.1 root ONLY.
